Happy New Year + Happy New Beginnings
The Well Apothecary wishes everyone a very Happy New Year!
We hope 2021 brings great joy, peace, love, prosperity, calm, serenity - nothing but positivity, good vibes + all the delicious goodness in between!
So… as you can probably see, we waited to write a journal post for the New Year.
Initially, we had planned to post an entry the first week of January, but as we are all aware, events took place during that first week to which we felt it best to wait on a journal post. The deplorable, yet completely unsurprising acts of white supremacism on full display at the Capitol January 6, not only distracted us, but caused me personally to take time for myself, to process my feelings; my feelings about this country, my feelings about this government, my feelings about law enforcement + this carceral system, my feelings about racism in this country, my feelings about this new administration, … ALL of my feelings. All of my many many feelings.
That said, we waited. I felt it best to wait until after the inauguration. This was a purposeful decision due to the tension filled days leading up to the inauguration.
We felt it best to come into this New Year, this new presidency, and keeping with the momentum of the planetary prograde we are experiencing - that is NO planets in RETROGRADE! - we felt a new journal entry was appropriate :)
New Year + New Beginnings… and we mean that.
We are working on so much here at The Well - some new products and new services will be available very soon! Please bare with us as we work toward building something truly unique!
Our long term vision is to build + grow this BIPOC Woman-Owned business into a self sustainable, locally grown, zero to no waste, long term community investment for the wellness of us here, you there and our future generations to come.
Bare with us as we work to achieve this dream. We plan to share so much more with you in the upcoming months. And while our planets orbit in their forward-facing orbital direction, we believe this may be a wonderful time to set your future intentions into motion.
